Digging in the sand, looking for "she-shells"We went to the beach last week for our annual trip... all three girls had a blast! We went to the pool each morning ,and to the beach each afternoon... A favorite past time of the twins was to eat ice cream... each time we went to the car, they said, Let's go get ice cream! Did not bother mom a bit... I love ice cream!!!
We had great weather! There were storms a couple of days, but most of the time, we were able to sit out by the pool or ocean, and enjoy the beauty around us!
We enjoyed some Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, and went to Barefoot Landing... We took Abby on the ghost walk, and it was really fun! Our guide told us great stories, and it was dark and creepy... right up Abby's alley... We also went to the Tanger outlets, and found some great deals for Abby... new shoes for school, as well as a great rolling duffel bag for her upcoming trip to church camp! We went to Calabash one evening, and had dinner on the water, and we went to play putt-putt... the twins first experience with putt-putt. They enjoyed it very much!

As nice s vacation was, it was great to get home! We enjoyed some early fireworks tonight with our great next door neighbors! All the girls were having fun watching the fireworks and playing with sparklers... Abby and Lauren got the Star Wars toys out and were doing battle... It was fun to watch them! Watching them play, and the twins and Lillie run around really helps you understand what is important in life... the memories the girls made tonight will stay with them always!
Well, I better finish up... I am off work tomorrow, and we are going to Alamance Crossing to do some back to school shopping early... Justice is having a great sale! happy 4th of July everyone!! Let's hope that everyone remembers what our country's birthday is all about... and is thankful for what we enjoy every day!! Good night!!!
