Halloween, and Christmas Adventures...

Well, things have been busy in the Hawkins house lately! Here are some pictures from the Halloween expeditions... we went to the pumpkin patch with the twins' class at school... and for Halloween, Vivian was Cinderella, Delaney was Tinkerbell, and Abby was a jack-o-lantern... the girls got lots of candy, so they were pretty happy!!

We had quite the adventure going to get our tree... it was snowing in the mts, as well as here, but they closed the road down the mountain, so we had to go an alternate route... It was OK until there was a wreck that had the alternate way closed... we ended up going to Virginia to hit I-77 to come back to NC... a trip that should have taken about 2 hours, took almost 6!! But, the girls had fun and we LOVE our Christmas tree! We have a busy December... between church, school, parties with friends and family... it seems like it goes by so quickly! But, we want to wish everyone a merry Christmas, and Happy New year, if I don't get to post again before the holidays are through!! May we all remember the reason for Christmas, and remind our children each day!
