October,,, already gone?

Sisterly love...
Talking on the cell phone...(Delaney)

Abby making a pound cake with her great grandma for a family tree project at school
Things have been very busy at the Hawkins house! Abby is in full swing of the fifth grade, and she is doing very well... She has completed a family tree project in which she interviewed her great grandma with questions that she thought of, and wrote a paper about it. She also learned how to make her great great grandma's pound cake, and it turned out very well! She is beginning to like to cook... and it is fun to have her help in the kitchen! She made the A honor roll this nine weeks, and her teacher is so wonderful! I love her because she challenges Abby to think outside of the box, and I think she will be ready for middle school next year because of it! Piano and Clogging are going well too, and the Christmas parade will be here before we know it!

This is Vivian singing in the bathtub... she loves to sing now, since they sing quite bit in pre school...Here she is singing the "Blessing Song" that they sing before snack, followed by Scooby Doo... The girls are both enjoying pre school, and doing very well with their projects, and learning! They are also enjoying acrobatics with Mrs. Micki, and Abby is the helper in their class... It is fun to watch them dance! When they have observation day, I will be sure to video and post it! But, for now, enjoy her song! Tomorrow they are dressing up like a lady bug (Delaney), jack o lantern( Vivian) and Alex Russo from Wizards of Waerly Place (Abby) Trick or treat should be fun!! cant wait to watch their eyes light up because of the candy!

Take care everyone,
